This torrent was originally uploaded by Crash247 over at Demonoid. The film is "a classic" and needs to be further disseminated, so I "stole it" to make it more widely available. Decent movie, give it shot, better than 75% of the crap out today. The Fortune Cookie (1966) A cameraman gets injured by a football player during a game and goes to the hospital. There, his cunning brother in law (who happens to be a lawyer) convinces him to pretend that his legs have been paralyzed. This way, they can receive a huge indemnity from the insurance company. Of course, the insurance company's men suspect that the paralysis is a fake one, and so a big "game" begins. The first collaboration of the successful team of Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. I agree with you in all: It's very rare nowadays to see quality pictures.
Today's movies are full of expensive actors, dazling special effects, but that's all. I rather see a good black & white movie [like "The Appartment","Some like it hot" ...] than a "oscar" style superproduction .
Don't get me wrong, there are some really good movies, like "Benjamin Botton", "The changeling" and "The Reader", but these are exceptions.
Congratulations on your work, and thanks a lot for sharing this precious movie.
Have a good life, be happy and take care!

Thanks, but real credit goes to Crash247 at Demonoid, he/she was the first to upload this, since it was only on Demonoid, I thought it needed to be spread around.
There are some good movies today, but, by and large most are crap. I'm sure there was a lot of crap back then too, but there were many great ones as well.
I just always seems to like Walther Matthau, Jack Lemmon, Cary Grant movies.
Again Credit and Thanks to Crash 247.
